ABUS offers almost twice the sensitivity for identifying tumours when compared with mammography alone. ABUS screening provides valuable details of breast tissue structures and associated breast cancer\u00a0risk (BI-RADS categorization) with interpretations that can be used with confidence along with other imaging data and clinical findings to better evaluate and successfully\u00a0address\u00a0subtle changes over time, long before breast cancer presents.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #dc2274;\">Delivering Excellence in Customer Service<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\nWe strive to offer the highest standard of customer service by our professionally trained and licensed staff in a comfortable and relaxing out-patient environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #d82674;\">Dr. John Bennett, MDCM, FRCPC<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ABUS Reading Radiologist<\/strong><br \/>\nA graduate of McGill University medical school in 1983, and having worked in general practice and as an emergency physician, Dr. John Bennett followed his medical beginnings with a four-year residency in radiology at the University of Western Ontario and a one year fellowship in interventional radiology at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. He then spent 15 years at St. Joseph&#8217;s Hospital in London, Ontario with a practice including interventional and general radiology as well as ultrasound, mammography and computed tomography. For the past 16 years, he has worked in a busy general radiology practice, including fluoroscopy, ultrasound, BMD, mammography and imaging-guided treatments. In addition to his practice, Dr. Bennett works for Realtime Radiology providing a wide range of tele-radiology services, including mammography, cross-section imaging and 3D automated breast ultrasound (ABUS<sup>TM<\/sup>). Dr. Bennett has over 6 years of ABUS reading experience as he was the first radiologist in Canada to be trained in the reading and reporting of ABUS studies. His extensive training in many approaches to breast cancer screening includes the multimodality approach to the detection and diagnosis of occult breast cancer by\u00a0Dr. Laszlo Tabar. PreView Breast Screening is pleased to have Dr. Bennett on the team as he brings exceptional senior radiology experience and extensive knowledge in breast imaging interpretation and reporting.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #d82674;\">Emily Coposescu, ARDMS<\/span><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>ABUS Sonographer<\/strong><br \/>\nEmily is a licensed Sonographer with ARDMS certification and post graduate breast ultrasound training from the Burwin Institute of Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound. Her most recent training as an automated breast ultrasound technician is supported by her years of extensive 3D ultrasound obstetrical experience in an out-patient environment. \u00a0Earlier in her career, she received a Bachelor of Science diploma in her homeland of Romania followed by a post-graduate diploma in ultrasound technology from the Toronto Medical Education Centre. \u00a0Drawing on her skills and qualifications,\u00a0Emily accurately captures hundreds of images in only minutes from three automated scans of the entire breast, resulting\u00a0in volumetric detail of complex breast tissues and structures, which provides for the best available image acquisition for interpretation of findings by the reading Radiologist. She enjoys welcoming new patients and introducing them to the ABUS scanning process while ensuring that their experience exceeds expectations.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #d6287c;\"><strong>Alison Johns, BASc<\/strong><\/span><br \/>\n<strong>Managing Director<\/strong><br \/>\nAlison Johns has more than 25 years of business experience in the professional services industry including over 13 years in the private healthcare field. Tasked with keeping the company true to it\u2019s goals and values, Alison has the responsibility for overseeing operations, communications, customer service and corporate social responsibility.
